Adult care

You are busy. Work, family and other obligations can make it difficult to fit medical care into your schedule. Everyone at Novant Health Village Point Family Medicine understands, and that's why we work hard to make it as easy as possible for you to get the care you need.

Preventive care

One of the best things you can do for your ongoing health is to see a doctor before you are sick. An annual physical exam is a great chance for you to meet a provider and let them get to know you and your medical needs. It's also a chance for your provider to identify small health concerns before they become larger problems. An annual physical exam often includes:

  • A review of your health history.
  • A check of height, weight and blood pressure.
  • A check of heart and lung function.
  • Blood and urine testing.
  • A visual exam of the eyes, ears, nose, throat and skin.
  • Tests of reflexes and muscle strength.

There will also be time to discuss care for any chronic conditions as well as other ongoing medical concerns.

Acute care

If you are sick or injured, skip a trip to urgent care and come see a provider who knows you. Our office offers care for minor injuries and acute conditions including sore throats, coughs, colds and the flu. We offer same-day and next-day appointments, and even accept walk-in patients. When you are not feeling well, stop by and let us help you feel better. Call 336-893-2420 to schedule an appointment or come visit our office between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
